Tony has been working with, influencing and leading frontline and executive teams for over 25 years throughout the Australian Defence Force and the Corporate Sector, both domestically and internationally. During that time, he has had the opportunity to learn from, and work with, some of Australia’s finest men and women across a diverse range of portfolios.
He has worked in some of the most challenging, remote and hostile environments developing and mentoring teams to achieve success and resilience.
Tony has led and influenced teams through the spectrum from the ground zero of incidents, including coordinating initial emergency response efforts at the 2002 Bali bombing in the absence of support, through to strategic level engagements for major exploration projects and in support of Australia’s strategic national interests.
Tony has been fortunate enough to have undertaken training and had instructional roles in a number of premier leadership institutions including the Australian Defence Force Academy and the Royal Military College – Duntroon, Australia. Within the corporate sector, Tony has facilitated the development of Crisis Leadership, Resilience and Management teams for a number of the top tier Oil and Gas and Mining Companies. He has a passion for enabling and empowering teams.
He holds a Masters of Project Management, Graduate Certificate of IT, Diploma of Leadership and Management, Advanced Diploma of Work Health and Safety, Diploma of Security Operations Management and Cert IV in Training and Assessment. He is also currently furthering his studies in human dynamics and psychology during and post crisis and major incidents.
